EP23EO - Unit- or clinic-level patient satisfaction data (related to nursing care) outperform the mean of the national database used.

 

Provide eight quarters of inpatient, pediatric, and ambulatory/outpatient patient satisfaction data at the unit or clinic-level collected within the previous 30 months before documentation submission. 

Press Ganey is the vendor used at FF Thompson Hospital to collect patient satisfaction data. The four categories selected to display inpatient data are: Courtesy and Respect, Responsiveness, Patient Education, and Pain. Our outpatient areas differ in the questions that are gathered for patient responses, therefore the categories selected differ slightly. The four categories selected for the Emergency Department are: Courtesy and Respect, Careful Listening, Pain, and Patient Education. The four categories selected for the Ambulatory Procedures Center are: Patient Engagement, Patient Education, Service Recovery (Concerns and Complaints), and Care Coordination.
