She joined the organization in 2012 and in 2013 had three goals established to focus on for the year.
Over the course of the year Nicole and Jessica Schojan, RN clinical RN/Charge Nurse met and reviewed the goals. Nicole kept Jessica up to date on her progress and was able to build into her schedule time to attend Thompson Way sessions and improvement in her IV skills. Also, additional education was provided regarding acuities and inputting information. Nicole attended this education and has been instrumental in assisting other staff members when questions arise. Overall, the process of the CN's completing the evaluations and working directly with the bedside staff has been positive. It allows RN's like Nicole to keep the team up-to-date on her progress and assures ongoing accountability.
